We went here to see Primer 55! Omg we had a blast! The atmosphere is great. I loved that we were able to make our way to the very front when Primer went on, without any issues! There is balcony/upstairs seating if you prefer. But we love the floor! Up close and personal! Definitely recommend the Whiskey! All the staff and security are cool too.
The Whiskey has the best sound in Southern California by leaps .. Ariel Kamin’s birthday bash at the legendary Whisky was an absolute movie! 🤘🔥 The energy in the room was electric, but the absolute highlight of the night was this epic performance. They brought the house down with a killer cover of "Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door." Paying homage to the brilliant Bob Dylan original while completely channeling that massive, gritty stadium energy made famous by Guns N’ Roses—the whole crowd was singing along. 🎶✨ Happy Birthday, Ariel! Here’s to another year of rock n' roll and unforgettable nights. 🎸🥂
Went here to see The Ultimate Doors, a tribute band for The Doors. It was my first time here and I loved everything about it. The venue was intimate and even though I was towards the back I felt like the band was within reach. The sound, lighting, and staff were all first class. Absolute best musical night of my life. Thank you Whisky a GO GO for everything.
Went to this historic venue to see Robbie Krieger on the anniversary show of the Doors first appearance there. I was not disappointed! Super fast and easy entrance and security, great wait staff and the security crew were amazing! Everyone was courteous and professional and made the event so much more enjoyable! Love this venue!
The Whiskey a Go Go is a classic. You cannot go wrong when going there for a good time. Drinks can be a little pricey but it's still worth the fun. There are also some fun characters you will encounter while there.
