We've been here several times over the years for both brunch and nightlife. This is one of my favorite bars of all time! Great food, drinks are stellar, and the folks are so friendly and accommodating. The brunch menu is a real standout, and we've never had anything that wasn't wonderful and delicious. This has been a consistent experience over the past 5 years since we first visited. The vibes of the place are super unique and cozy. Highly recommend Werewolf for fun any time of day! It's always our first stop any time we touch down in San Diego.
One of the nicest places we've been here. Food was great, our server Fiona was fantastic and the whole vibe was chill. We went there for brunch and all that we ordered were fantastic. My wife ordered the steak scramble, must get with the chipotle sauce, it totally brought it to 11. I got the chicken fried steak with a small order of the pork belly Benedict, and both were fantastic and flavorful. My son got the Oreo pancakes, he said it was it was the best restaurant pancake he's had. The side of bacon we ordered was also really good. Would recommend 100/10, would come back.
Alright, this place’s food is freaking fantastic and very unique. Settled nearby the main street in Gaslamp, so not as busy. There are nearby parking lots that result in maybe a 5-minute walk here. The food was delicious, especially the Pork Belly Benedict. It was sweet, the meat was tender, and every single bite was unique. We were told by our waitress that we must try it, and shoot she was right. Best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. The California Burrito was also really good. These two orders will give you a filling, tasty lunch for two. Fair prices as well. It was Valentine’s Day when I visited, and that was my mistake to come dressed up here lol. Not even trying to sound pretentious, I just mean this is more of a sports bar vibe. It’s SD so expected to smell marijuana in the air, and this place had loud music making it difficult to hear my partner across from me. There’s a bar inside with a lot of seating. Restrooms were kinda gross and out of napkins, but staff were super friendly and attentive. Overall cool spot to hangout with friends, but definitely not a fancy date spot lol.
Dope spot. Wills have loved to have more time to check out the night scene too. The brunch was amazing though! I got the pork belly Benedict fire! And we got the country fried steak delicious.
This place is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!! Our server Anna was awesome! The food was even better. I had my two little ones with me (8yrs and 12yrs) and Anna was so great with them. The bloody Mary was just to dead for. When we roll through San Diego again, we will definitely be stopping by. Thank you for a great experience.
