Top 10, no question. I travel the country chasing great tiki bars, and yours ranks #4 on my list. Thank you for an incredible experience. Keep serving drinks in tiki mugs. That’s part of the whole experience. I know people sometimes walk off with them, but the fact that you still do it sets you apart. A lot of tiki bars have stopped, and it’s exactly what makes yours stand out from the rest. THANK YOU. 4,19,2026 3:30PM reservation.
Second time here and it did not disappoint! What a fun place with great vibes and very unique exceptional ways they serve their cocktails. Mecca is always very accommodating, great guy! Zeke took care of us today and was fabulous. I had the Elvis in Hawaii again because I just love how they present it and then tried the buried treasure and that was extremely fun and very tasty. They had the painkiller and the piña colada and said they were very very good. I recommend making reservations as it does fill up quickly. When they opened and I arrived, they gave everyone in the bar, a round of a free shot of rum. Very generous nice touch! They have a lovely decorated patio right off of the main room. Fabulous decor, and decorations everywhere and all the staff are extremely knowledgeable of their menu and a ton of fun! They really make the experience excellent! You can order some grub from tail o the pup downstairs, and they will bring it up to you or you can order from their own menu, which has some tasty tapas on it. Will be back!
Fantastic speakeasy tiki bar with an amazing atmosphere! The drinks are delicious, creative, and perfectly crafted. What really sets this place apart is the outstanding customer service, the staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely focused on making sure every guest has a great experience. Great vibes, great drinks, and exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend!
Fun tiki bar that requires reservations in advance due to high demand. May be difficult to score a reservation. Located above Tail o’ the Pup through a semi-secret entrance, this is a very charming tiki bar with the usual tropical inspired decor from the imitation prey traps, the lamps, the beaded shades, and the general appearance of imitation bamboo everywhere. There is a 90 minute time limit which is enough time to consume drinks and food. I ordered the Ghost of Jim Morrison and the Give me a Little Head. The Ghost of Jim Morrison contains Coppali rum, blackberry shrub, and a burning rosemary. This was a smoky hard drink with delicious syrupy blackberries on top. The Give Me a Little Head contained Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, mint-infused honey syrup, and peche de vigne. This was a sweeter and slightly nicer drink to enjoy. There was also food options that you could order like the Lucky Tiki Pup and the Lemongrass Chicken. The Hot dog was a little hard to chew. It came with a pineapple ring and teriyaki sauce that was sweet but not overbearing on a toasted sweet Hawaiian bun. The Lemongrass chicken was hard to determine where the lemongrass flavor was. It was decent chicken but the sauce coating on the outside was much more reminiscent of standard orange chicken. It was fine to snack on but I would explore other options first next time. Limited street parking outside, not sure if there were any onsite parking spaces.
Came early on a Saturday and got lucky enough to grab seats at the bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was exactly what you'd hope for from a great tiki bar, but the real highlight of the night was our bartender. I unfortunately forgot his name, but he was the gentleman with glasses behind the bar. He was, without exaggeration, one of the best bartenders I've ever had—the perfect mix of fun, personable, and professional. He took great care of us all night and managed a busy bar with ease, constantly multitasking while remaining attentive and engaging. His hospitality made the experience truly memorable. Great cocktails and a great atmosphere brought us in, but his service is what will bring us back. If you're visiting I highly recommend grabbing a seat at the bar.
