Very good sports bar gastropub in west LA. Their ambiance is very good, and their menu is more than what you get in a typical sports bar. Service was great, Heidi was amazing and she took very good care of us. It’s in their culture of taking care of the customer. Highly recommended.
We needed a spot for dinner ahead of an event at the nearby bookstore and State Social House fit the bill. Vegetarian options along with fun things to drink gave us a good experience in a shabby-chic, rustic atmosphere. This is a sit down restaurant with table service but actual large tables are sparse so we were at a small round spot, just big enough to house our food and drink, but not quite enough to spread out. Service was great...the staff were friendly and our order came quickly on an early Friday evening. I was happy to have a good vegetarian option and thought the vegan tacos were delicious with plant-based meat and other good and tasty ingredients. There are plenty of other options if you're a vegetarian including a vegan burger, pastas, salads and pizza...So not anything so elevated, but definitely comfort-forward and delicious. I'd definitely come back for those vegan tacos!
Jonesie is the man! We had a great time during happy hour on Monday. Service was great. Food was very good. I have uploaded photos of the happy hour food.
One of my favorite places on the Sunset Strip. Love sitting on the patio at Sunset-Holloway Spilt and watching the traffic as I sip on lovely hand-crafted mocktails! BIG giant TVs for sports. The place is split into two....one side a cigar bar and the other non-smoking, with food served on both sides. The menus seem to change often so there is variety in the offerings. TIP: If you're in the Backroom, you can hear conversations on the other side of the bar due to domed ceiling....sneaky eavesdropping if you like! Shout outs to: Alex, Jonesy, Kelsey, Hector and Jessica for always being awesome!!
We ordered the chili cheese fries and bruschetta — both were good and came out fast. I was here for a networking event, and the venue had a nice selection of shareable appetizers. The staff were friendly and on top of things, and the place got pretty lively as the night went on. The atmosphere was great, with lots of space for groups and events. I’d definitely come back for another gathering.
