I recently visited Pinchers and overall it was a very enjoyable experience, especially because of the location and atmosphere. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful area with a lovely waterfront view where you can also see yachts being rented and docked nearby. The scenery alone makes the visit worth it, especially during sunset or in the evening when the marina area looks even more relaxing and elegant. The restaurant is nicely decorated both inside and outside. If you choose to sit outdoors, you can enjoy your meal right in front of the water, which creates a calm and pleasant dining experience. Inside, the decoration is also very attractive, with a coastal style that matches perfectly with the seafood concept of the restaurant. The atmosphere feels welcoming and family friendly. The menu is varied and offers many seafood options, although the style of food is more casual and similar to fast seafood dining rather than fine dining. The drinks were very good and refreshing, and the overall presentation was nice. The fish dishes we tried were decent and enjoyable, although nothing extremely special. We did not try the crab or the desserts during this visit, but there were several options available on the menu. One detail we really liked was that they have a kids’ menu and provide paper on the tables where children can draw while waiting for the food. That small touch makes the experience much more entertaining for families with kids. Overall, it is a great place to relax, enjoy the marina views, and have a casual seafood meal in a pleasant environment.
Decided to go out for a girls night and finally try this place. Our server was super nice, but honestly I wasn’t the biggest fan of the food. I got the grouper sandwich, and it just wasn’t what I expected. We ordered a few appetizers hush puppies, calamari, crab rangoons, and a dip I can’t remember the name of and I think we enjoyed the appetizers more than the actual meals. It was our first time there, but probably not somewhere we’d go back to. The view by the water was definitely the best part though. Watching the boats pass by made the night really relaxing. After we ate, we walked around and checked out all the little shops. They were super cute and had really nice souvenirs.
Great service! Not so great food. Some dishes were extremely salty, and other things are very plain. I would deff say basic American seafood. I’ve always driven by and saw so many reviews and finally decided to stop by…
The food was ok, some items, like the wings & shrimp scampi were really good, but the fish & chips were awful, entire meal was cold, the white fish was gray & fries tasted like they were sitting around all day. It was a beautiful day, we asked for a table by the water, then sat at the farthest in table in with no view. When we requested to be moved, we were told the other tables were 'reserved' but even when we left no one at those tables. Our service was extremely slow, our order was missing sauces, our food was dropped off, no one asked if we needed anything. Halfway through our meal, we flagged down an employee, not our server, & asked for our sauces, he apologized & said he would bring them over & never came. By the time our server came over, we were done eating... very disappointed... the food looked better than it tasted. I've been there several times before & the past few times have been less than satisfying.
Thank you Sheila! My bf and I came to Pinchers for the first time today and it’s safe to say Sheila made the experience! Not to mention, the food was hot and delicious and totally hit the spot! Thanks Pinchers!
