THE PICTURES OF “WEEKLY POOL MAINTENANCE” speak for themselves….it wasn’t done!! When my husband called to complain, he got the owner who was Angry and aggressive then FIRED US!! Nassau Pools and their pool maintenance services has been nothing short of a nightmare. As a customer with a weekly pool maintenance agreement, I expected reliable and professional service, but unfortunately, Nassau Pools has failed to meet even the most basic expectations LIKE VACUUMING THE POOL. Moreover, the owner's attitude and behavior have been nothing short of appalling. Instead of addressing the issues with professionalism and courtesy, he dismissed any wrong doings, he was arrogant, argumentative, and a combative nature. Dealing with him has been an exercise in frustration and stress, as he seems more interested in engaging in confrontations rather than resolving the problems at hand. In my many years of dealing with various service providers, I can confidently say that the owner of Nassau Pools is the most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered. His lack of respect for customers and inability to handle even the simplest of inquiries or concerns is truly astonishing. I would strongly advise anyone considering Nassau Pools for their pool maintenance needs to think twice. With their unreliable service and the unprofessional behavior of the owner, it is clear that this company falls far short of the standards one would expect from a reputable pool maintenance provider. In conclusion, my experience with Nassau Pools has been a complete disappointment. Their failure to fulfill their obligations, coupled with the unprofessional conduct of the owner, has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend Nassau Pools to anyone seeking reliable and professional pool maintenance services.
This company is AMAZING, professional, reliable and has command over every aspect of pool installation(s). A year later, I had a slight issue with a water spill (that was likely my pool company's fault), Nassau kindly came out to examine the issue and resolve it on the spot. I LOVE this company because they are reliable and care about their installs. GREAT company, great customer service.
Nassau Pools takes care of a small condo complex for a very long time. They get two stars for showing up each week, but a poor review since their service is always short and rarely vacuums even though we pay for that. Every quote for anything always gets billed much higher. Timer boxes are left open, never adjusted to the correct time or noticed if they are not operating correctly. The pool has been running 24 hours a day and the light never comes ob even though it works, so the timers must be bad but they never notice. I told the cleaning guy there was a problem, but he seemed to think it was fine and left probably without informing repair work is needed. So tired of having unnoticed small issues. Last year there was a leak in the autofill pipe they never noticed which cost more in water bills for months. This year its extra electricity with the timers ticking but not able to turn things on and off. Calling them is not always an enjoyable conversation. If they notice and fix, I will update to 3 stars.
We had our pool installed 5 years ago; we've had nothing but problems. The installation was shoddy and the Jandy equipment used have gone bad multiple times. The salt cell has gone bad 3 times and the LED lights have gone bad 3 times. Replacement of a LED light that should have lasted many years is to the tune of $1,000 just for the part. Customer service said they would honor part replacement for the LED light out of warranty because it was a known defect. While trying for months to coordinate the light replacement, they blatantly backed out of their promise using the supply chain issue as the excuse. We used Nassau because our builder said they were reputable. However, he now admits that was a past reputation as he has received so many complaints about Nassau. Use any other pool company other than Nassau even if it costs more. The money saved is not worth the aggravation. This is not a honorable company.
The only reason I picked one star is because I had to in order to leave a review. We hired Nassau Pool Service for weekly maintenance. The service included, washing the sides of the pool, biweekly vacuuming, rinsing the the filter @ every 6 weeks, changing the filter as needed, checking pressures, and administering the necessary chemicals. We suspected none of this was being performed as everytime we arrived home, our pool was dirty, so we installed security cameras to monitor services. The last time we were here, not only was the pool dirty, but there was an oily looking slick on the water surface. We called the office and spoke to Carlos who basically told us that was impossible. We had to argue with him to come out and look. As soon as he walked onto my lanai, he claimed our entire pool needed resurfacing to the cost of $15,000-$20,000. We told him even if that were true, the pool should not have debris on the bottom and top as well as an oily slick. He went and checked the filter, and it was COMPLETELY DISINTEGRATED! The debris was pieces of the filter! That filter had never been changed or checked in over a year! This is our first time owning a pool, so we were not familiar with how to maintain it and were relying on Nassau to be honest with us. He sent someone out to give us an estimate on resurfacing the pool, and he said it didn’t need it!! Meanwhile, Carlos continued to defend the work of his employee, Luis even though he saw the physical evidence that he was not doing his job. We told them we had installed cameras, and that we would be watching closely. Things marginally improved. When we retuned, the pool was just as dirty as the last time. My husband checked the filter and it was filthy. He checked the camera video and they hadn’t been vacuuming or checking the filter in over a month. My husband went out and purchased an new filter, & installed it himself. The longest amount of time Luis had spent here was 8 minutes. Meanwhile, we had them on automatic payment and were never late. When we called again to make them aware, Carlos argued with us that it wasn’t true and that Luis had been here. We told him we had it on video that he was not. Carlos told us he would send Luis right out. That was at 9 AM. Luis didn’t show up until 5:30PM. When we asked him the last time he vacuumed, he couldn’t answer us. We asked him when the last time he checked the filter and again he didn’t have an answer. I told him we had him on camera and was he seriously going to look me straight in the eye and lie to my face? He response was to grab his equipment and tell us to call the office and leave. My husband suspected the pool had a leak. Carlos came out , said he fixed it and charged us an additional $268. We paid it immediately. My husband wasn’t sure they fixed it, and called another company to double check. This other company really did fix it and for less money. DO NOT USE NASSAU POOLS. They are incompetent and lie to your face. I have never been so unhappy with a company such as I am with this one. I cannot believe that they are still in business.
