We went on a Thursday night for the turkey special, there were 6 of us. Very generous proportions! I got the Caesar small side salad to start and shared it with two other people. It came with bacon and butter soaked croutons. Delicious! I did not get the turkey dinner because I do not like dark meat and my own turkey breast dinner is outstanding. I got the blackened swordfish and was blown away at how moist it was. It almost melted in my mouth. The blackened seasoning was so good and it came with a spicy sauce on the side. The rice on the side was also very good. Unfortunately, the green beans were kind of mushy because I believe they were over cooked. But I would go back just for the excellent swordfish!

Honestly, food looks better than it tastes. It wasn't seasoned that well. I can tell they usually have older customers bc it seems like they season it for people with high blood pressure and 99% of the crowd was at least 75yrs old when I went.

Looking for a local spot off the beaten path? We found this place and were very happy with our decision. We had the cheese curds appetizer, I had the swordfish, she had the grouper special, amd we shared the brownie dessert. All were fresh and flavorful. Our server was lovely. Could the place use some updates, sure, but that may be part of the charm.

I just loved this place. It probably hasn't changed in fifty years, and I think that's great. The service was friendly, the food (clam chowder, seafood strudel and a massive Cobb Salad) was honestly superb, and the price was right. It's a joy to find a place that serves real, well-made dishes without pretentious or gouging tactics. I'll gladly pop in here for lunch when I'm in Marco Island
