⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had KC Home Services come out for our annual AC maintenance, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Virginia U. in the office was friendly, funny, and incredibly helpful in getting us scheduled right away. Our technician, Luis V., was professional, courteous, and thorough. He sent a text when he was on his way, wore booties inside our home, took pictures, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, changed our filter, and made sure everything was working properly. We’ve had a wonderful experience with KC Home Services since purchasing our AC and furnace, and we highly recommend them!
I had a really amazing experience with KC Home Services. They had installed our air conditioner previously. We had a previous membership with them and ,even though it had lapsed, they still honored the two free inspections for our air conditioning/heating unit. Yesterday on the hottest of the year when the temperature was over 100°, our air conditioner quit working. I called KC Home Services and they came out the very next morning! Rick went out of his way to take care of us. He was very personable, and extremely knowledgeable. We needed some parts that were not on his truck and he took his time to go pick them up at another location and came me back and installed them so that we would be cool the rest of the day. Thank you Rick! Needless to say, we renewed our membership, which has many advantages. I highly recommend this company.
Once again I was so pleased with the service from KC. I had no air co and it was going to get very hot out. I also had a work schedule that would be limiting my availability in the days following my call. Virginia worked it out for me to get a great repairman (Rick C.) out in less than two hours. He is friendly, reliable, professional, and very knowledgeable. It took a lot of testing to get a diagnosis of the central electrical problem, but I am able to use my mini splits (which are great) now. Moreover, it was all covered in a basic service call. This is the third time that I have had great service overall from KC!
Brandon came to my home, inspected my heater and ducts and gave me an estimate for install of a new heat pump system. Brandon was courteous and friendly. He listened to my concerns and questions and answered my questions with explanations to help me understand his answers. When the time for the installation came, KC Home Services let me know that their installers were on the way. Every day they sent a text message about 30 minutes before their employees arrived. The messages included names and photographs of the individuals who were working on site that day. The representatives of KC Home Services were invariably polite, competent, and friendly
KC is easily the most professional and capable home system service I have ever used. Their technicians arrive after being introduced via text that includes a picture. You might think they’re sending you an ad. Real plumbers and HVAC guys don't look like that: white shirts, embroidered names, hats with the KC logo, and exceedingly polite. No gruff, dirty guys. No butt cracks. KC won me over when Virginia, the owner's mom, answered a call for help last winter when our heat pump stopped working. Virginia asked all the right questions and got a serviceman to come the next day. He found a blown circuit breaker deep inside the internal unit that I had completely missed. We signed up for an annual home warranty that day, fully expecting to cancel it after a year at most. The warranty includes an inspection and routine maintenance. I usually wouldn't get contracts for service, but lately I’ve realized some things are better left to the pros. Also, I suspected an inspection might be an opportunity for a service to try to offer me all sorts of stuff i didn't need. But because these guys took detailed photos (hundreds of them), documented issues like unsafe conditions (asbestos), rusty pipes that were a disaster waiting to happen, poor installations and shoddy workmanship from previous services, I felt they were just being thorough. You might not want KC if you’re happy with a quick fix and don't mind postponing problems, but we love our home and want to stay safe and comfortable in it for a long time.
