Service: if we weren’t a big group, I didn’t even want to tip them. I waited AN HOUR for my drink that I ordered when the staff came to take our drink orders. We reminded them THREE TIMES, and at the end when we’re all finished with our food, the drink came :) They also came with an extra espresso martini and since it was a wrong order, they decided to make it a complimentary birthday drink for my friend. The things is, at the moment another person ordered the espresso martini, and the staff wanted to take that complimentary drink away to fulfill that order. This is probably one of the most ridiculous things I’ve experienced. Food: their food is good actually, but I’d say the dining experience ruined my appetite entirely and not even get to toast with a drink with my friends. Ambiance: very chill and wide open, which is good for big party booking, but I won’t recommend it.
This was my first time here, but not my first time at a Karl Strauss. I came for a quick bite and a beer before an Angels game. The ambiance was pretty cool, with a typical sports vibe, and the customer service was good. The Ahi Pokémon Nachos were fresh and delicious, and the Tower X West Coast IPA was really good. I'll definitely come back again.
Came here yesterday, to see the Angel Game with some friends of mine.This Brewery was so AWESOME, I LOVED the vibe and Atmosphere, I forgot our server name but she was always checking to see if we needed anything. THE MANAGER darian Hernandez was Awesome..i would recommend this restaurant/brewery to anyone.For sure ill be going back:).
Karl Strauss was our first Southern California brewery we visited years ago. We have been several times since then, and this last visit was incredible. I had the burger, which was amazing. Our waitress spent a lot of time with us and brought us tasters of beer that paired well with our meal. Great service, great food, fantastic atmosphere, and excellent beer as always!
Food was good. My Ribeye was well done, asked for medium. Service was excellent, top notch. Atmosphere could use some insulation, the ceilings are open and the noise level was too loud. Price for the food quality and service was well worth it. 🤙🏻 I would come back, but I would sit outside and try to avoid sitting inside for a more intimate setting.
