Dr Kelly did a fantastic job with my surgery. The office rarely answers the phone and the follow through is horrible. Edit: Had to lower my review because of the absolutely horrible treatment given to me. Still impossible to get someone on the phone and just overall lack of caring and consideration for the patient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kelly’s since August of last year. After 20 + years of constant flair-ups of lower back pain and sciatica. I made the decision to seek a surgical consultation. I retired from the surgical and biologics fields so I am very familiar with spine injuries, disease and genetic anomalies. After years of conservative treatment for my own lower back injury, including exercise, rest, NSAIDs, patches, physical therapy, steroid injections, nerve ablations, massages and anything else I could possibly think of, Dr. Kelly made me realize that it was time to repair my fractures and herniated discs surgically. I had a two level fusion, among other things on Halloween of this past year. I am now just past 9 weeks post operation and while I can tell you it is not a simple or painless road, for me, it is the correct one. I am now walking without assistance and at 63 years old, I feel like there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. My injuries are no longer compressing my spinal cord. When I wake up in the morning I can get out of bed without excruciating pain and make my way to the restroom. I still have a lot of healing to do and I need to accept the fact that I can no longer treat my body like a 24 year old. None of this progress would have been possible without the outstanding team Led by Dr. Sean Kelly. Dr. Kelly spoke honestly and clearly with me, told me he could continue conservative efforts, but ultimately brought me to the realization that it was time to address my condition surgically. The office staff like Yari and Daniel were professional and caring. Dr. Joseph himself even visited me post operatively. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Kelly and would unequivocally recommend him to anyone in need of care for their back problems.

I was referred to Dr. Kelly by the emergency room, when I presented with unbearable back/nerve pain. I was given a direct line to Dr. Kelly’s office manager who was the most understanding and caring person. She got me in quickly, and Dr. Kelly really set my mind at ease at what the possible treatment plans could be. He switched my medications to make me as comfortable as possible, and we are just waiting on the needed MRI results to come up with a treatment plan. As an NP myself he is caring, thorough, and really set my mind at ease. I have a genetic condition that makes treating me more complex and he was not only familiar with my condition, but has treated others with it! I am happy I ended up in his care, and really feel like he will be able to get my pain and back fixed soon! Highly recommend even after just one visit!

WOW! Dr. Kelly is the most genuine, compassionate, and caring physician I have been lucky enough to be treated by. From the moment I met him as a new patient, he was caring and truly took the time to HEAR me. As a Nurse, I've worked with MANY physicians. He is truly #1. Being on the "other side" as a patient is nerve wracking and he eases your fears. His demeanor and bedside manner is calming. You know you are in good hands. There are long wait times in the office, but that is to be expected because he takes his time with patients. I'll gladly wait to receive the care I have thus far. I'm so very thankful to call him my surgeon. Before surgery and after surgery, the level of care he provides never wavers. 100% highly recommend Dr. Kelly!!!
