We were able to book a last-minute charter with Captain Andy, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! As first-time fishermen, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Captain Andy made the entire experience enjoyable, stress-free, and exciting from start to finish. He took us through the beautiful waters around Matlacha and the surrounding islands, sharing his local knowledge while putting us in great spots to fish. His patience, professionalism, and friendly personality made us feel comfortable and confident, even as beginners. The scenery was incredible, the fishing was fun, and Captain Andy went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. What a great day on the water with Captain Andy. He seemed to know the perfect spots to hit and caught our limit in the first hour. Me, my youngest son Matt, and his friend Liam had a blast. First time on a charter trip where we all got tired of catching. Didn’t think that was possible. Also, Mangos cooked up the Trout and Snapper and was delicious. Thank you Captain Andy.
We had a great day fishing with Captain Andy! Andy is very personable. Caught speckled sea trout, gator trout to bring home (Andy cleans them for you!). Also saw a shark, a manatee, a couple of Stingrays. We also caught a puffer fish and a couple of small jacks. Would recommend Hooked4Life with Captain Andy for a fun day of fishing.
Had a fantastic trip out on the water with Captain Andy. All of us got on some good fish. The Cap knows his way around the waters. We hit multiple spots targeting variety of fish. He knew where to find the fish, even with the tide being a bit low and slow moving. All of us improved our saltwater fishing techniques. Andy was very accommodating and knowledgeable on how to get more hook ups. Other than the fishing, it was a beautiful trip for sight seeing as well. Got a beautiful view of some manatee and dolphins 🐬 The captain was very kind to take photos of the haul and of our family. Preserved some good memories. The fish were cleaned and filleted precisely! Would absolutely book again in the future.
Captain Andy came through big time for the boys and Me. We caught snapper, snook, red fish, sea trout, sail cats and even a surprise Stingray!!! Andy is a solid dude and great captain, couldn’t recommend more highly!
