Mistakes were made. I've never been to a CPK and probably won't return. Was on a quest to find Man vs, fires which in fact is in CPK bit only for UberEats orders--a ghost kitchen. Nevertheless, I was hungry and need to eat. Excellent service from CJ who provided ample fresh brewed ice tea. Went with the Kung Pao Spaghetti w/chicken. It was advertised as spicy, garlic and scallions. The dish was mostly noodles that had a wash of an asian sauce. Wasn't spicy at all even after I added crushed red pepper flakes. Minimal veg and; probably 2 oz of chicken at best. Even the noodles were clumped together. I was warm and served timely. The outdoor seating was perfect with a wonder 70 degrees, no humidity in February, Underwhelming in general, the menu didn't resonate as it was hard to find plentiful protein options.

My first takeout from California Pizza Kitchen at Waterside Shops was unfortunately an extremely overall disappointing experience. The pizza was cold and appeared to have been sitting for a long time. I ordered at 4:09PM, picked up at 4:22PM, it should not have been cold if it was freshly made. The crust was tough and hard to chew, making it essentially inedible – we ended up throwing it away.The Chicken Piccata was delivered warm and seemed freshly prepared, but the chicken itself was overcooked and chewy, although the pasta was cooked well. On a positive note, the Salmon Piccata was excellent: served warm, perfectly cooked, and very flavorful. Out of the three dishes we ordered, one was great. While I appreciate the one standout item, the inconsistencies with the others were very disappointing. Based on this experience, I’m hesitant to order takeout from this location again. The pick up counter service was excellent and perhaps in restaurant dining is much better than take out dining. Looking at reviews after my experience it appears take-out orders are hit or miss, and CPC responses are the same verbiage.

Usually stop in when in the area because my husband and I enjoy the cauliflower (gluten free) crust pizzas. The regular and margherita style with added pineapple and mushrooms was really good. Pizzas tasted fresh and crust was thin and crispy. Josh, our server was great. Atmosphere was quiet and laid back. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. All in all, a decent meal experience.

If I could give it 4.5 🌟 I would. Service by Denis was great and the hostess was really nice too. The bartenders drinks were just right and the Caesar with chicken was delicious. My daughter enjoyed the kid's cheese pizza along with ice cream for desert. On our last visit there was a water leak blocking the entrance. Had the Roasted Vegetable salad and a kids pizza. Service was sparse. Visited around 4pm. New Waldorf Salad is not good.

Always like cpk BBQ chicken salad. The salad was good, but did have to pick a few brown pieces of lettuce out. Salad has a good mix of texture...lettuce, chicken, tortilla strips.Service was ok but a/c was out & very uncomfortable. I was really craving the salad or I would have left. Would have been nice to be offered a cold drink on the house, since it was so warm but I guess the days of appreciation customers patronizing even in not great conditions, is a thing of the past.
