If I ran a bar, The Broken Spell is exactly how I'd want it to feel. Enterald velvet and leather, gold trim. Dark, foresty wallpaper and cozy seating. Unfortunately, I hear there used to be live music, but this is no longer the case. The drink menu has the requisite classics that feel at home in a classy cocktail room: martinis, negronis, Manhattans, that kind of thing. But the seasonal menu was much more exciting; we were there around Halloween, and they offered drinks with squid ink, pork belly washed bourbon, or absinthe. Risky and exciting for Disney! The food menu is modest but solid. Our Caesar salad came with crotons made of croissant, which I have never seen before. And the bar snack mix is warm and includes favs beans, chick peas, and inca corn. Really a fan. The Broken Spell feels like what every "nice" cocktail lounge wishes it felt like.

Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Drinks: 5/5 Price: 3/5 Parking: 3/5 Angie was our server, and she had great recommendations/was all around awesome. This spot does not offer reservations, so we stopped by at open (4 pm) on a Wednesday. We shared a pizza and tried several drinks. All-in-all worth it!

This might be my partner and I's new favorite drink spot on Disneyland property. First and foremost, we love the live jazz duo band that played the night we went. They are very talented and interacted with the audience well. The staff were welcoming - the hostess was friendly and our server was fantastically efficient. My partner loved the drinks he got and the dessert I ordered was delicious. We'll definitely make it a point to visit on future trips!

Had heard so many good things about BS Lounge on social media content, so we decided to end our first night with a cocktail. Started off great and Nessa the host was friendly and bubbly as she greeted us and sat us at a table. Inquired with the server about a chocolate chili drink and decided to order it (left drink in the photo) I ran to the restroom and when I returned it had been served and I missed the presentation (glass being lifted and smoke release) which I didn’t know was part of it. Felt like she could have waited a bit for my arrival…at least my friends enjoyed the experience. The drink tasted & smelled so smoky (not in the description for this tequila based cocktail). After waiting for several minutes and she hadn’t returned to see how we were doing, I went to bar to explain that I couldn’t drink it, the other server and bartender were kind and professional and said the drink could easily be replaced with a new one. Our server still didn’t pay attention…I’ll note that she was friendly and chatted with other guests…made us feel like she had an issue with our group, possibly because we asked questions about the drinks 🤷🏻‍♀️ when ordering…but that happens in her line of work. Most definitely ended our night with the Disney magic bubble popped in a bad way.

We love the Broken Spell this was our second visit to this place. Great live music 🎵! Staff is great there was a wait to sit so don't expect to sit right down unless you are there when it opens. We got the Pizza delicious. Dry rub wings and the prime rib sandwich and dip. All of the food was good. Drinks where very fun!
