We loved the Steak pepper pie, Vanilla slice amazing hedgehog slice was up there and sausage roll was amazing and $3.80 you can't go wrong. Great family stop

BEST VANILLA SLICE IN THE WORLD! The lovely people behind the counter just add to the experience of purchasing goods here. The Vanilla Slice and Jelly Slice (my first) are amazing, the plain meat pie was good, but not as good as the sweets. Having read all the press about the vanilla slices, they were my first stop after entering Bendigo. It would have been one and done had I not been kept in town due to flooding, so I just had to go back and get another one each of the four days I was there. I could sincerely eat them every day of my life!
I ate my lunch today at the Bath Lane store and couldn't help but notice how friendly the staff were! In particular a lovely young guy who greeted EVERYONE with respect and I hope that the people that he looked after today, felt good as they left the store. He let those who ordered pies etc that the sauce was free (which is rare) and to "please help yourself", he also wished everyone a great day as they left the shop. Exceptional service is an understatement, and my Caesar salad was delicious, with plenty of chicken and other ingredients. I also had a little party pie which was packed with filling. Well done to the whole team there!
Staff were so helpful and went out of their way to meet our needs. We wanted a made to order roll (It's so hard to find a place where you can get made to order now.) for lunch and as it was only 9am, they offered to wrap in plastic so it wouldn't dry out, plus, fillings were generous.
