Stopped by Bar One for a casual lunch and had a great time. I ordered the sliders and an IPA, and both hit the spot. The sliders were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—simple but really well done. The vibe was relaxed, and the staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. A solid spot if you’re in the area and looking for good food, good beer, and a laid-back atmosphere. Will definitely be back to try more off the menu!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Game-Day Spot in San Diego I arrived in San Diego looking for a place to watch my Houston Texans take on the Steelers, and I couldn’t have picked a better spot than Bar One. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with open arms—exactly the kind of hospitality you hope for when you’re far from home and just want to catch your team play. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and genuinely inviting. Every staff member I interacted with was attentive and friendly, creating the kind of environment that makes you want to stay long after the game ends. The food absolutely hit the mark. I ordered the sliders, which were amazing, and grabbed some buffalo wings to take home for later—they made the perfect snack. The drinks were priced just right, which is always a pleasant surprise in a city known for pricier nights out. The biggest shock of the night? My entire bill came out to only $42. For great food, great drinks, and a great game-day vibe, that’s unbeatable. If you’re in San Diego and need a place to watch your team—or just want a welcoming sports bar with solid food and service—Bar One is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back.

The did was terrible. The chicken tenders were not real chicken. It was the worst meal we had in Little Italy. The Ahi was way overcooked and had a canned tuna taste. For the price, there are much better places to eat.

Hello, I just want to let you know that Barone is one of my favorite restaurants. It is family-run and its menu is very variable. It has different types of food. They have burritos, nachos, Mexican food, and also American food, typical of a bar. They also have Chinese food and rice bowls. It is very good because they have a great variety of foods and their beers are different types. They keep putting the best of beers, both bottled and canned, and also canbucha and wines, tequila and more, etc. But my favorite food is birria, tacos, cheese steak, burgers and appetizers, fried ravioli, chicken tenders, beyond meat in salads, C.R.B. and chopped salad. And one thing: the hamburgers are fresh meat, 8oz, so there are no excuses. In this place, you can eat everything. They also have dessert, icecream cake and donut holes, cake, pinaupsidedown. I tell you all, it is a very good option for everyone. Thank you, Barone. It has the best of the best, its prices are very affordable, the best of Little Italy.

Came in for a drink after dinner and it was pretty busy for World Cup. We were at a table tucked in the corner so after waiting 10 mins we thought we’d just go order a drink at the bar. The gal working behind the bar told me that I couldn’t order at the bar and someone would come over to take our order. 15 mins later nobody came remotely close to our table so we just left. I would recommend maybe not turning down customers who want to spend money at your bar? We thought we were being helpful by going up to order our drinks given it was busy and it seemed like the staff had their hands full but the attitude from the bartender implied otherwise.
