Our experience with Access Doors & Windows was extremely frustrating. We raised repeated concerns about improperly waterproofed window openings, recessed windows, damaged trim, and unfinished drywall/stucco work. One window was ordered the wrong size and they added a 2x4 beneath it to make up the difference, then reinstalled the original sill on top of the wood. Their contract states drywall repairs are included, yet multiple areas remained unfinished while we continued asking for timelines and corrections. We were also told we “didn’t understand Florida installs” because we are from up north, despite having two separate GCs inspect the work and express concerns with the installation and waterproofing details. Communication was poor throughout the project. The owner would say one thing in person and then something different later in email. My advice: document everything, communicate in writing, and always have a witness present during walkthroughs or meetings.
I highly recommend Access Door & Window. I met with a number of window replacement providers and Access was the clear winner. Peter was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was very straightforward and honest as he discussed options and solutions. Most importantly, Peter was most interested in providing us the best solution to meet our needs. In addition, the pricing was extremely competitive. The installation crew was awesome. Very professional, on-time, efficient, skilled, and very clean. Access followed up upon completion of the work to ensure they had met or exceeded all expectations. And yes they did! Thank you to Peter and the crew at Access Door & Window!

Doing business with access doors and windows was a great experience from the beginning to the end. They were very professional. The Crew was on time, very diligent, quick, and did a solid installation job. They were very clean and organized. Our project was done and closed out without any mishaps. Highly recommend this hurricane impact company.
Bad experience overall. Won’t complete the job. Left the house in really bad shape. Damaged the home on both the interior and exterior and won’t come back to fix it.
